SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Investing in people to be the protagonists of change.

Philosophy

We believe that a socially responsible company has the ability to listen to and take into account the interests of the multiple parties involved in a business (shareholders, employees, suppliers, consumers, the community, the government and the environment) and incorporate them into the planning of its activities.

Strategy

We develop collaboration agreements and alliances with universities, civil society and business organizations and public institutions under the modality of Private Social Investment and the Promotion of Social Responsibility.

Seeking to align our priorities with those of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we currently invest in projects that contribute to eradicating poverty (SDG 1), promoting good health and well-being (SDG 3), quality education (SDG 4), job creation and economic growth (SDG 8) and the promotion of scientific research for the conservation of the marine ecosystem (SDG 14, Life below water).

The two pillars of our strategy:

Private social investment

Investing time, talent and material and economic resources in order to build a future with opportunities for all.

Promotion of social responsibility

With the conviction that the best results are achieved when working as a team and collaborating with others, Glaciar Pesquera has always sought to develop synergies with other companies for the promotion of good business practices, training its employees in social responsibility and holding meetings for sharing and debating successful and unsuccessful social responsibility experiences.
